SELECTED FOR NEW TERMINAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
FOR CERES TERMINALS
INCORPORATED’S RORO/CONTAINER TERMINAL
OPERATIONS
Murray Hill, NJ - Advent is pleased to
announce that the company has been selected to
provide the Terminal Management System in five
of the Ceres Terminals Incorporated’s U.S. RoRo/Container
Terminal locations. These terminal operations
are located in the Ports of Baltimore, Virginia,
Hueneme (California), Houston and Jacksonville.
Ceres required a
centralized, web-based terminal management
system that handled terminal operations for
containers, automobiles and bulk cargo. After an
extensive search by Ceres, the Advent Terminal
Management System was determined to be an
excellent fit. This system incorporates the
facilities for handheld operations over both
wifi-enabled locations and cellular data
networks where wifi availability is limited.
Advent’s Terminal
Management System will increase the visibility
and efficiencies of operations and have a strong
positive effect on the high level of customer
service that Ceres provides to its customers.
