WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ --- Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines Americas of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, has contracted Advent, Inc. to review and improve its electronic data interchange (EDI) systems in use in North America. Advent, Inc. is a software development company located in New Providence, NJ that specializes in mission-critical applications for the shipping industry.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines Americas initiated the EDI review in an effort to streamline its data operations and improve customer relations. Advent’s expertise in transportation systems and deep knowledge of Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s business practices made them the ideal consultant to manage this process.
A team of Advent EDI specialists will examine each element of Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s electronic data interchange and, if necessary, design and implement new components and protocols to improve those systems. The EDI systems implemented by Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines in North America must interface with its global systems and customers.
