WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ --- Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, has contracted Advent, Inc. to create an RFP for a new marine terminal management system. Advent, Inc. is a software development company located in New Providence, NJ that specializes in mission-critical applications for the shipping industry.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines decided to purchase an off-the-shelf software package instead of developing a custom solution to manage its terminal operations for break bulk and automobile cargo. Advent’s expertise in transportation systems and deep knowledge of Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s business practices made them the ideal consultant to manage this process.
In order to gather the specific requirements for the new system, senior consultants from Advent will travel to Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s port facilities in Baltimore, Zebrugge and Southampton.
