ALAMEDA, CA --- Embarcadero Systems Corporation of Alameda, CA teamed with Advent, Inc. to produce Webtams, an internet-based module of Embarcadero’s new M21 terminal management product. Advent is a software development company located in New Providence, NJ and specializing in mission-critical applications for the shipping industry.
Embarcadero’s M21 system is being used by Marine Terminals Corporation (MTC) facilities to manage terminal operations. The Webtams component allows MTC’s customers, steamship lines whose cargo MTC is handling, to view the status of their containers and cargo bookings as they are processed through the MTC operation.
Advent was selected for the project because of its extensive experience with maritime and Intermodal operations as well as its ability to deliver cutting edge systems.
